Class structures for 2019 will undergo change to bring Queanbeyan Public School in line with best evidence, research based international practice in education. This means that the Maths Groups in Stages 2 and 3 will no longer run, and the Stepped Classes (including the enrichment class) in Stage 3 will not run.
Instead, all classes will be parallel, ensuring that every one of our students develop the growth mindset and academic rigor they require to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
All parents are invited to attend an information session in Week 3 so that Mrs Austin can share the research and philosophy behind the change.
Questions can be asked and reading will be provided.
