P & C message
The Queanbeyan Public School (QPS) P&C Association is a not-for-profit Organisation which is established to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation and to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of all students at the school.
QPS P&C meet every second Monday of the month at 7.00pm in the staff room to discuss what is happening in the school. It is a great opportunity to get to know other parents, the principal and teachers, to talk about important issues in the school and to make a real difference to the children's experiences at school.
The $1 annual membership of the QPS P&C Association is open to everyone and new members are always welcome. Once a member of the QPS P&C Association you are able to have a voice in shaping the activities within the school. There is no expectation that all members must be involved in every aspect of the P&C, attend every meeting or help with every activity. All members can volunteer as much or as little of their time as they wish.
