Learning and support resources are available to help any student experiencing difficulties in their learning or wellbeing. We monitor each student's progress and provide additional learning support if this is required.
Our school has a dedicated Learning and Support Team that meets on a weekly basis to discuss the learning and wellbeing of our students.
Our school uses learning programs and specialised staff where needed and we work in partnership with parents and carers to assist students who have special learning needs.
Reading Recovery is an early intervention program to support students in Literacy and is designed specifically to support students in Year 1.
This program is adapted to meet the student’s individual needs in reading and writing and involves daily, intensive, one-to-one instruction which and can last for up to 20 weeks.
Students, in this program, are assisted by a trained specialist teacher and make rapid progress, rejoining the average levels within the classroom.
